These boards are dished with a perfect concave to match the radius in a guitar's top or back. They can be used to clamp on the braces during gluing in a go-bar box.
Sandpaper can be attached to the surface of the concave turning it into a perfectly shaped sanding block to shape the guitar's sides to match the curve in the back, or sand the underside of a brace to a perfect curve. (instructions below)
The radii used depends on the guitar being made but 15' is the most common radius for the back and 28' is the most common radius for backs.
