A roller tunematic bridge is a great choice for a bridge used on a guitar with a tailpiece, such as a Bigsby. They can also be used in combination with a stopbar tailpiece. The roller saddles allow the strings to move across the bridge where they would usually get caught on a standard bridge. This improves tuning stability and tremolo performance. - Tunematic with roller saddles - Includes large bushings with screw-in posts - Height adjustment with thumbwheels - Chrome plated - M8 x 1.25 threaded posts - 1/2” (12.5mm) diameter body bushings - 6mm diameter studs - 1/4" (6.4mm) diameter holes in bridge - 2-1/32" (51.8mm) string spacing - 2-29/32" (73.8mm) post spacing - 12" Saddle radius - Combine with a stop bar, tailpiece or string mounting ferrules - Can be mounted in a solidbody or timber bridge base - Made in Korea If you are replacing a bridge it's important to choose the correct model - Please see below for details
There are three main types of Tunematic (or Tune-o-matic) bridges that have been used on Gibson® guitars and other brands over the years. The easiest way to find which bridge will suit your guitar is by visual inspection and by checking the inserts that go into the body of the guitar to anchor the bridge.
