Queensland Maple has been used for many years in the Australian guitar industry. Australian guitar manufacturer Maton have used this timber for the majority of their guitars.
The timber is light to medium weight, resonant and easy to work with, making it ideal for the bodies and necks of electric guitars. Some pieces exhibit figuring.
