These Gotoh classic pickups are high quality reproductions of vintage American Gibson® humbucker pickups. They are designed to reproduce the sound quality of the classic pickups we all love. They sound every bit as good as the pickups found in top quality American vintage guitars. Pickups are relatively standard in size. Strat, Tele and humbucker pickups are universal and the different brands are mostly interchangeable. This means replacing them is usually an easy task.

It's important to choose the same size of pickup if you don't want to do any major modification of your guitar.

The simplest way to replace a pickup is to unsolder the old pickup from the switch or pot and solder on the new one. Check the wiring diagram to ensure you are attaching the correct wires to the lugs.
