How to Use

The Binding Router Edge Guide fits onto our Precision Router Base using the two screws provided. The router should be fitted with our 5/16" diameter carbide-tipped Binding Router Bit.

The depth of the cut need to be set to match the binding you are using. This is adjusted using the height adjustment of the router base.

The width of the cut is set using the thumbscrew adjustment. You must loosen the locking screw before adjusting the width. Use a piece of the binding to set this adjustment.

When routing the instrument use slow and controlled passes. If you are routing a very wide trench it is advisable to set the width shallower to start with and do the rout in two or more passes.
