'Martin Style' U-Channel Truss Rod

These are the same design of truss rods Martin have been using on their guitars for years. They consist of an aluminium u-channel with a bent steel rod inside. The strong aluminium casing adds reinforcement to the neck. Adjustment is smooth and easy. When the nut is tightened the bent rod is tensioned and pulls the neck the opposite way, counteracting the tension of the strings. U-Channel Truss Rods are easy to install, requiring a straight slot.
