New Guinea Rosewood, also known as Narra is an excellent tonewood, which has been used for the backs and sides of guitars for several decades. New Guinea Rosewood alternates between golden yellow, light pink and light brown colours. It often exhibits a light figure which makes the finished guitar appear luminous.
