- Specialised luthier clamps - Designed for clamping bridges and braces through the soundhole - Levelling screw supports weight and prevents distortion of the guitar body - Adjustable jaw screw to clear braces - Lightweight with slim profile - Durable steel frame for long-lasting performance - 180mm (7") reach - 47 mm (1-7/8") maximum opening - 12.7mm (1/2") wide - Easy to use and operate These Soundhole clamps are ideal for clamping bridges and braces through a soundhole of a classical or steel-string guitar. The 7” clamps will easily reach a bridge and most braces. The slim profile allows for multiple clamps to be inserted through the soundhole. The clamps have a special levelling screw to help support the clamp's weight and prevent unwanted bending of the soundboard. They are made of steel and are strong yet lightweight. An addition feature is a height-adjustable jaw screw for clearance of internal braces, and jaw feet that swivel to conform to uneven surfaces
To glue a bridge onto an acoustic guitar you will need 2-3 clamps. 1 clamp may work for repairs of bridges or bracing.

A clamp should be positioned at each end of the bridge. This is often enough to hold down the entire bridge but if it needs more pressure in the middle a third clamp should be used there.

A caul is often used under the top to spread out the clamping pressure. Small cauls should also be used across the top of the bridge to spread out the pressure of each of the clamps.
