This full-scale printed plan of a tenor ukulele is beautifully drawn. It includes a fret slotting chart, materials list, bracing diagram, neck details & more.
This plan is based on a Kamaka tenor ukulele. The tenor is a large ukulele (second only to the baritone size) and many players find it the easiest size to play. It has a scale length of 17".
Ukuleles are slightly easier to build than guitars due to their small size and general lack of ornamentation. A variety of different tonewoods can be used to change the look and sound of the instrument. Ukuleles are often left very simple but more decoration such as inlays and binding can be used if desired.
