Bridge pins are tapered in in a slight cone shape, so it's important to make a matching tapered hole for them. This tool is perfect for getting the holes sized and shaped. The three razor-sharp blades effortlessly shave away the inside of the hole until it's the perfect size for the pin. No more loose or stuck pins! - Made by Juzek in USA - High-quality - 3-degree taper fits the bridge pins we sell and many others - Tapers from 4.0mm (0.157") Dia. to 7.9mm (0.311") Dia. - Pinned timber handle, - Hardened steel reamer - 137mm (5.39") Length, 89mm (3.50") Handle
It's best to start with a hole drilled at 4.0mm-4.8mm (3/16")

Simply insert the reamer and turn the handle. As it shaves the inside of the hole out bigger it will slowly drop into the hole. Go slowly as it works very effectively.

Keep checking the hole until you get the prefect fit for your bridge pin. It should just hold in the the hole but not offer much resistance when you pull it out.

Once you know the perfect position along the reamer for one pin you can use some masking tape to mark the position so you can do the other holes to the same size.
