Carbon Fiber Neck Rods

- Very strong and stiff - Lightweight - Carbon fiber + epoxy composite - Glues with epoxy - Cuts with a hacksaw Two sizes are available: - 3.2 x 8.3 x 457mm (0.125" x 0.325" x 18") For guitar necks - 5.1 x 6.4 x 610mm (0.2" x 0.25" x 24") For bass necks, can be cut shorter for guitar necks Stronger than an equivalent volume of steel, carbon fiber rods can supplement an adjustable truss rod to help prevent neck twisting. Install a carbon fiber rod either side of the adjustable truss rod for added stiffness or use a carbon fiber rod as a non-adjustable truss rod in a classical guitar etc. Short sections can be installed to reinforce the base of a peghead. Formed with heat and pressure in an epoxy base, carbon fiber adds little weight, but adds significant stiffness.
