Black Mother of Pearl is not really black but a grey/pewter colour. It has a green iridescence and a subtle beauty.
Dots are the easiest inlays to install, they require only a hole drilled into the timber. Always wear a dust mask when sanding and cutting pearl as the dust may be hazardous if inhaled.
