The ES-335™ is one of Gibson's most popular hollowbody models and has been used by many blues and rock musicians over the years. It features a double-cutaway body and stopbar tailpiece with tunematic bridge.
It has a laminated top and back, though carved timber can be substituted if laminated components can't be obtained. Like any archtop guitar the 335 is a challenging build and requires both acoustic and electric guitar making techniques. The wiring is the same as many other Gobson models with two humbucker pickups. An SG wiring kit can be used.
