Tunematic bridges are most frequently used in conjunction with stopbar tailpieces. This setup is the most common used on Gibson guitars as well as countless other brands. The Stop Bar Tailpiece is used to anchor the ends of the strings and the strings then go over the top of the tunematic bridge. Sometimes a trapeze tailpiece, Bigsby tremolo or Top-Mounted String Ferrules are used instead of a stopbar. These Gotoh brand GE-103BT model Tunematic Bridges are made in Japan to the highest quality standards. They're an excellent choice for a custom build, or for replacing the existing bridge on a guitar. The easiest way to find which bridge will suit your guitar is by visual inspection and by checking the inserts that go into the body of the guitar to anchor the bridge.
