This simple tool is specially designed to clamp the top and back braces of a guitar during a repair. The turnbuckle jack expands as you turn it, to push against the brace and hold it while glue dries. It is ideal for gluing loose braces to a top or back or holding cracked braces together. It is simple to use, just put it through the soundhole and into place under the brace you need to clamp, then turn the handle with your fingertips to expand the jack out and clamp the brace. The non-stick plastic ends are slotted to fit over the profile of a brace for better control while fitting and adjusting the tool. - Clamps loose or cracked braces during gluing - Turnbuckle expands with fingertips - Slotted heads to fit most brace profiles - Sturdy and strong - Adjusts from 73mm to 110mm - Machined brass body - Stainlesss steel threads - Non-stick polyethylene heads
Using the Brace Repair Jack is simple, though you should do a dry run before using glue to get used to placing the jack.

Once the glue is applied place the tool through the soundhole and put it in place on the brace being glued.

The other end of the jack can be placed on a brace or on the surface of the top or back.

Turn the turnbuckle with your fingertips to press against the brace. Use enough force to clamp the brace well, but do not over-tighten and risk deforming or cracking the guitar.
