PVC Insulated Wire

Plastic-coated wire is frequently used on the wiring of electric guitars. This is premium quality wire so the copper is thick and durable yet flexible enough to conform to tight guitar cavities. The PVC insulation is easily stripped away for soldering using wire strippers or a blade. The shielded and 4-conductor versions have a braided copper shield on the outside, which is usually connected to ground.
