Purflings are decorative strips used to the inside of bindings. These herringbone purflings are more decorative than the typical laminated purflings and are a great way to dress up the appearance of an acoustic guitar. The purflings can also be used as a rosette, either by inlaying one layer as a simple rosette or by adding layers of laminated purflings. Herringbone Purflings should be bent to shape before use. Most shapes can be achieved by hand bending them around a curved object such as a pipe or bottle. Do not use water, heat may be used for obtaining tight bends. - Medium pattern to suit small and large guitars - Matches our Medium Herringbone Rosettes - Blacks are flexible fiber, whites are maple timber - 3.5mm (0.138") wide - 2mm (0.08") deep - 875mm (34.5") long - 2 required for 1 guitar top or back - Long enough for large guitars
