This high-quality tool is used in conjunction with the Ibex Purfling & Binding Groove Cutter to cut the perfect narrow groove needed to install purflings in the top and back of violin-family instruments.
The cutter is used to cut the edges of the groove then the cleaner is used clean the trench out.
