Indian Rosewood bindings with 0.7mm European Maple laminate
These high-quality bindings add a classy finish to an acoustic or classical guitar.
They should be bent to shape in the same way as a guitars sides and glued in place with Titebond wood glue. It's best to limit the amount of water used when bending or bend with no water to reduce the risk of the maple strip delaminating.
A timber purfling can be used on the inside of the binding to add an extra layer of decoration.
The binding rebate can be cut into the edge of the guitar either by hand with our purfling/binding cutter or with a router and binding router bit with a ball bearing of the appropriate size.
