Setting the neck on a different angle is a common necessity when setting up a bass with a bolt-on neck, such as a Fender Precision or Jazz Bass.
These ready-made tapered shims cover the entire heel. They raise the bridge to a desired height and fit the neck pocket perfectly.
Shaped shims fit most standard neck pockets like P.Bass and J.Basses.
Blank shims were designed for odd screw spacings, smaller neck pockets, and custom designs like the Fender Micro-Tilt™.
Dimensions:
Shaped: 2-1/2" x 3-7/8" (63.50mm x 98.43mm)
Blank: 2-3/4" x 3-7/8" (69.86mm x 98.43mm)
0.25-degree shim offers the most versatility. Stacking them will let you really dial in the neck angle you're after.
0.5-degree shim is the one you'll reach for most often. It works great on Fender and many other solidbodies.
1-degree shim is great for basses with a post mounted bridge.
