Checking the straightness of the fingerboard rather than just the frets is important during fretwork and setups as the frets may be straight while the fingerboard is not. Our Notched Straightedges are made from heavy-duty aluminium. The edges are precision-ground to be perfectly straight and then notched to fit over the frets.
