The traditional jack cups used in Tele® style guitars can be problematic, the jack often comes loose and eventually either falls out or the wires break. They can also be fiddly and frustrating to fit and remove for maintenance. This jack mount replaces a traditional Tele® jack cup and is attached by two screws which go into the cavity so no visible modification is needed to the guitar.
