It is especially useful for slotting nuts from blanks, or adjusting nut slots that are very high. Simply put the Groobar on the surface of the fingerboard in front of the nut and file the slot until the file touches it. The 4 thicknesses allow for the selection of a a Groobar which matches the height of the frets. Detailed instructions below.
