'Nashville' Tunematic bridges are the most common style used on Gibson guitars. These Nashville bridges from Grover are built to the highest quality standards and are equal to original Gibson bridges in materials and finish.
The saddles are not slotted so they need to be slotted with small grooves for the strings before use. This allows for different string spacings and is handy for custom builds, or to modify the string spacing of an existing guitar.
Tunematic bridges are most frequently used in conjunction with stopbar tailpieces. This setup is the most common used on Gibson guitars as well as countless other brands.
The Stop Bar Tailpiece is used to anchor the ends of the strings and the strings then go over the top of the tunematic bridge. Sometimes a trapeze tailpiece, Bigsby tremolo or Top-Mounted String Ferrules are used instead of a stopbar.
