These ingenious rasp files are made from layers of saw blades, with the teeth of the saws doing the work. The spaces between the blades allow for the dust to fall through the file, allowing for aggressive removal of timber without clogging.
Made by Shinto Japan from high-carbon steel, the files are built for longevity as well as function. They are double-sided with a coarse side for fast removal of stock and a fine side for more precision tasks and a smoother finish.
They are ideal for shaping guitar necks and can also be used for working on electric guitar bodies, especially for shaping the arm bevel and belly cut.
