Simply wrap sandpaper around the block or attach self-adhesive sandpaper to the surface. The blocks are made from medium density EVA rubber, which is molded with ridges at the back that allow more flexibility in one direction than the other. This allows the block to flex to fit the curve of guitar sides while staying straight across the side. The pads can be cut into smaller sizes using a knife.
