The String Action Gauge is one of the most useful tools available for guitar setups. It allows for the most accurate measurement of the height of each string and is accurate to 0.1mm or better.

The gauge can also be used to accurately measure many other critical measurements including saddle height, saddle slot depth, fret slot depth, nut height and pickup pole piece height

The under String Radius gauges are one of the most useful tools for guitar setup and fret work. Each gauge has a precise radius machined into the top and bottom edges.

The bottom edge can be used to check the radius of a fingerboard, without taking the strings off. The top edge is placed under the strings to set the strings to the correct radius at the bridge.

The gauges can also be used to measure and mark the radius on nuts and saddles.

The precision set of 20 feeler gauges can perform a wide variety of functions including measuring string action, measuring the correct nut slot depths, fret slot width, string to fret clearances, and other hardware installation tasks.

Hiroshima Nut files are used to create or modify the slots in guitar and bass nuts.

These hardened stainless steel files are specially designed for nut slotting. They are made to various widths to match the diameters of strings. The half-round edge profile cuts a round bottom in the slot to match the string profile.

Nut slots should be cut with a slight angle to the fingerboard surface, so the string bares on an edge where the nut meets the fingerboard.

The files are suitable for all materials including bone, plastic, graphite, Tusq and brass.
