- Martin 'Pyramid' style - Ebony - Drilled for bridge pins - 25.4mm x 9.1mm x 152.4mm (1" x 23/64" x 6") - 58mm (2-5/16") Hole spacing - 2.4mm (3/32") Saddle slot width - 73mm (2-7/8") Saddle slot length Old style pyramid contours. Here's a 6-string bridge with sculpted pyramid contours, for building a smaller 00 or 000-size flattop acoustic guitar. It's made of unpolished ebony and measures 6" x 1" x 0.350". Unlike a vintage bridge, the saddle slot (3/32" wide x 2-7/8") is angled for improved intonation, and the bridge pin holes are aligned parallel to the slot. The holes are countersunk and are partially drilled for 2-5/16" string spread. Saddle not included. The bridge pin holes are drilled straight and may require the use of a tapered Bridge Pin Hole Reamer for a tight fit.

Acoustic guitar bridges can be glued with Titebond glue. It's important that both gluing surfaces are clean and smooth.

Bridge clamps are the the best tool to hold the bridge down as the glue sets. Two clamps are usually sufficient as they hold the ends down. Sometimes a third clamp is necessary to hold the middle of the bridge properly.
