The Fret Slotting Miter Box allows you to accurately cut fret slots with a fret slotting handsaw. The ball-bearing guides make sawing easier and faster as they hold the fret saw perpendicular to the fingerboard. The guides can be adjusted to match the blade precisely. You can quickly slot any board up to 3" (76mm) wide.

These custom made saws are the perfect tool for cutting fret slots in new fingerboards or for cleaning and deepening the slots in existing fingerboards. The 0.023" kerf (width of cut) is perfect for the tangs of all of our fretwires as well as most other common frets. The blade cuts on the pull stroke for more accurate alignment. The optional Adjustable Depth Stop allows the depth of cut to be set to perfectly suit the height of the fret tang.

The Fret Press Caul is a professional fretting tool that allows for fast and precise fretting of a fingerboard. It fits the brass inserts which are come in 9 different radii to suit all guitar fingerboards.
