These Fret Removing Pliers are designed specifically for pulling frets. They are used to remove frets from fingerboards with little or no damage.
The fret pullers have special flush ground jaws which can easily bite in under the fret and support the fingerboard to stop chipping of the timber along the edge of the fret slot.
Removal is best achieved by lifting the fret a little at a time across it's length. This should be repeated until the fret is removed.
